Your safari is organised by a licensed Tanzanian tour operator, Tanzania Safari Experts – ROM & DACE SAFARIS, who manages every aspect of your safari, from planning your itinerary to handling the practical arrangements. Your safari is led by our local safari driver-guides, and every safari includes a private Toyota Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof.
All seats are by the window. Once inside the park, the roof is raised, allowing you to stand up and enjoy unobstructed views of wildlife on both sides of the vehicle.
A private safari means you do not share your vehicle with other travellers. You have your own safari vehicle and driver-guide, and the pace of each day can be adapted to the conditions in the wild and to your interests.
Accommodation on safari is not simply a place to spend the night — it is part of the safari experience and carefully planned logistics. We choose accommodation based on its location, safety, service and suitability for the particular safari route, so that as much time as possible can be spent in nature and observing wildlife rather than on unnecessary drives. We personally assess the accommodation and its service, paying attention to practical details — a comfortable bed, shower, toilet, as well as the quality of the food and the responsiveness and flexibility of the staff.
A good safari accommodation cannot be judged separately from the safari itself — its value is determined not only by comfort, but also by whether, in that particular route and at that particular time, it is the right place to experience what you have come to Tanzania for.
Your safari starts with a conversation. You tell us what you would like to experience, how much time you have and what matters to you — based on our experience and real travel conditions in Tanzania, we create a safari itinerary that suits you. You can choose one of our sample itineraries or create a fully tailor-made safari.
We personally respond to your enquiry within 24 hours. Once the itinerary and travel dates have been agreed, your safari booking is confirmed with an initial 50% payment, after which we begin booking accommodation and organizing your safari. The remaining 50% must be paid no later than one month before the safari starts.
