B2B Tanzania Safaris for Travel Agencies & Tour Operators

Tanzanian safaris for your clients — we take care of everything on the ground

We work with international travel agencies and tour operators, providing full safari services in mainland Tanzania — from meeting your clients at the airport to taking them back to the airport at the end of their journey.

We create tailor-made safari programmes — for solo travellers and couples as well as larger groups of up to 25 people.

You create and sell your own travel package. We are your partner in Tanzania, responsible for delivering the safari programme we have jointly created and agreed on.

What we do

Safaris in mainland Tanzania

As a licensed Tanzanian safari tour operator, Tanzania Safari Experts – ROM & DACE SAFARIS, we organise the entire safari programme from A to Z on the mainland:

  • airport pick-up;
  • transfer to the hotel;
  • safari according to the agreed programme;
  • accommodation with meals included during the safari;
  • professional guides;
  • transfer to the airport at the end of the journey.

Our safaris are led by our local safari driver-guides, and each safari has a private Toyota Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof. The vehicle has 6 passenger seats, and all seats are by the window. In the national parks, the roof is raised, allowing travellers to stand up and, standing in the aisle between the seats, comfortably observe wildlife on both sides of the vehicle.

For larger groups of up to 25 people — including tourist groups organised by travel agencies and corporate groups — we organise safaris using several vehicles, up to 4 in total. Each vehicle accommodates up to 6 travellers, and the group leader can sit at the front of the vehicle next to the driver-guide. When sitting in the front next to the driver, it is not possible to stand up as it is in the passenger compartment.

The island of Zanzibar

We do not organise excursions in Zanzibar ourselves, as we are a safari tour operator and our licence applies to mainland Tanzania.

However, if Zanzibar is part of your client's safari trip, we can provide the related logistics:

  • selecting and booking accommodation;
  • domestic flights to Zanzibar;
  • ferry tickets if travelling to Zanzibar from Dar es Salaam;
  • transfers in Zanzibar in cooperation with a local partner.

If the international tour operator chooses and books the Zanzibar hotel themselves, we provide only the logistics we have agreed on.

How we work

You tell us what is needed. We create the proposal.

You send us information about the safari you have in mind — number of travellers, dates, preferred programme, accommodation level, etc. We prepare a tailor-made safari programme and price.

Our price for the partner is confidential. You add your own services, international flights and other travel elements and set the final price for your client.

You can sell the safari entirely under your own brand.

The standard safari language is English. If your clients require a guide or companion in another language, let us know when requesting the proposal — we will check the available options.

Your client. Your reputation. We understand.

When a client travels with a programme you have created, their experience in Tanzania is also a matter of your reputation. We understand that.

That is why we do not see B2B cooperation simply as providing a safari service. Our responsibility is to deliver to a high standard what we have agreed with you.

During the preparation of the tour, we work behind the scenes — you add your own services, communicate with your client and handle the sale of the package. When the client arrives in Tanzania, we take over the on-the-ground delivery — delivering the programme agreed with you and supporting your clients throughout their journey.

For communication between us, you have one dedicated contact and a 24/7 phone number, so that we can communicate quickly and resolve any situation if necessary. Upon arrival in Tanzania, and in agreement with you, we also provide clients with Romāns' and Dace's direct phone numbers for any unforeseen situations.

Why choose us? Local experience and international understanding

Our team combines two perspectives that are particularly important in B2B cooperation in Tanzania.

Behind every safari is a local team with knowledge, experience and an understanding of Tanzania and its wildlife. The team is led by the company's founders, Romāns Širima and Dace Zandfelde.

Romāns is a Tanzanian safari professional with more than 30 years of experience as a safari driver-guide. He knows the parks, roads, conditions and the realities of everyday safari life from the inside. Dace is a European who travels regularly herself and understands the expectations and requirements of international clients. In addition, Dace worked for more than 10 years at a public relations agency, including organising visits for media and public officials, and therefore understands a tour operator's responsibility towards its clients.

We understand that international travellers have different expectations when it comes to comfort and experiences. That is why it is important for us to receive information about your clients — whether they are travelling to Tanzania for the first time or are experienced travellers; whether they will feel comfortable in tourist-oriented places or want to experience the real Africa.

The better we understand who your client is and what they want, the more suitable a proposal we can prepare.

It is also important to us not to create unrealistic expectations, but to prepare programmes that reflect reality and to communicate this honestly to our partners.

Reservations and payments

Our proposals are prepared for a specific number of travellers and specific dates.

In practice, travel planning usually begins before flights are purchased, so we initially prepare the proposal based on a specific month and approximate dates.

The safari booking begins after international flight tickets have been purchased, and only once the dates are firmly confirmed do we make hotel reservations — hotel bookings in Tanzania must be paid for in advance, and payments made are non-refundable.

We begin the reservation process after receiving the first payment. Payments are made by bank transfer against an invoice.

  • 1st payment — the amount may vary depending on the specific programme and the booking conditions of the accommodation included in the programme. This payment is primarily used to secure accommodation.
  • 2nd payment — no later than one month before the group's arrival.

Changes to travel dates or number of travellers

If the travel date needs to be changed, we check whether the new date is available and whether it falls within the same price category.

The safari price is calculated according to the specific number of travellers. If the group size changes, the price per person also changes.

Cooperation starts with a conversation

We are happy to get to know our B2B partners. If you represent a travel agency or tour operator and are looking for a reliable partner in Tanzania, tell us about your company, your clients and the type of cooperation you are looking for. The more we know about you and your clients, the more accurately we can understand how we can help your clients discover and experience Tanzania.

Your client. Your reputation. Our responsibility in Tanzania.
